Healing and Loving Through Grief

Image
“When you lose a significant someone to mortality’s call, you feel you may never recover from the grief. It’s as if a part of you left; there is a sudden void in your heart and you feel empty. You miss the special one so much it hurts. Through it all, how can you not also lose yourself?” Through the article “Healing and Loving Through Grief”, I shared my story of losing some of the most beloved souls in my life and how I healed, expanded, and loved through these experiences. “Through my healing journey, I discovered that death is merely a physical illusion. Though the body may disappear, the memories and the love that we shared with the loved one remain in our hearts forever. The love never dies. It is permanent and everlasting. Only love is real. The best gift we can give to those who have left us is to love and live fully, joyfully, and purposefully and cherish those who are still with us.” “Death is not the end. Life continues. The journey continues. Thank you, Grief.” Thank ...

A Soul Promise

The Isle of Skye Wedding by Lina Hayes on Pinterest This week, I have been crying my heart out as memories from past lives swept over me and my soul remembered and relived the intense unbearable pain of heartaches. In Spain, as a nun who faced the harsh obligation of choosing between God and Love. If God was Love, then why did I even have to choose?   In Scotland, as a priestess who faced the cruel reality of choosing between Duty and Love. Was it not my duty to love?   But in this lifetime, I choose to release the anger, the bitterness, and the deep sorrow.  I choose to make peace with the past and break the karmic vow. And I wish to make a humble request to God and the Universe to grant a new kind of blessing for our souls… To meet again. To choose Love. To choose to stay together forever. To choose a happy ending. To choose to live happily ever after. Because we deserve it. Because we are Love. Jambi, April 13, 2022.  ***   The remembrance a...

Ahimsa Wellness Sanctuary

Image
The Flying Golden Warrior  Many times, we let fear stop us from doing what we truly want. When the calling for Ahimsa came to me last year, I paused. Then, I announced to the universe through my writings that I would do it. The new year came, and I hesitated. What if I don’t get any students? What if I can’t pay the teachers? What will happen to Ahimsa if I decide to move from Jambi? What if a new virus stops the operation? Luckily, I remembered excellent advice from Master Umesh H. Nandwani. JFDI. Just Fucking Do It! And so, I do.  On this very special day, 22-02-2022, I am humbled and happy to share my new creation: Ahimsa Wellness Sanctuary.  Ahimsa Wellness Sanctuary shares the sacred practices of Yoga, Meditation, and Qigong. It is a safe space for healing, learning, and growing your mind, body, soul, and spirit using the ancient wisdom from India and China to embrace a healthy, joyful, and purposeful life.  Ahimsa, a Sanskrit word, means respect for ...

Blessings from Covid-19

Photo by CDC on Unsplash   "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair..."  – A Tale of Two Cities, Charles Dickens   What if one of the worst things that ever happened to you turned out to be one of the biggest blessings in your life? That’s how I feel about Covid-19. When the coronavirus outbreak started at the beginning of 2020 in Indonesia and globally, I could sense fear and anxiety floating in the air. I felt stress and discomfort. Confined in my small apartment in Jakarta due to the lockdown, I was forced to stay home and be with myself. It was a mixed period of boredom, impatience, deep reflection, and serenity. For once in a long time, I cooked more often, immersing myself in culinary creativity. I couldn’t believe...
